Yikes! Time slipped by me somehow...I haven't posted anything in a while. Well, here we are, starting a new week. Week THIRTEEN!! Our little baby is now the size of a Jumbo Shrimp. Let's pray that it doesn't look like one too:)
Baby and I went in to see the Dr on Friday. I heard the heartbeat again and it was just as cool as it was 2 weeks ago! I love knowing that our Baby is growing and healthy! This week his vocal cords will be developing. Just think, in 6 short months, we will hear our little one crying as we welcome it! I can't wait to hear that sound:)
I have officially grown out of all of my jeans so Austin and I did a little shopping over the weekend. It was fun and I was able to find some good deals and, surprisingly, some cute things! My mom bought me a "belly band" today to try out. I have heard a lot about them, so hopefully it will work. It is supposed to be good to wear under dresses and to wear over my pants that I can't button so they will fit. We will see how it works and write about it next time.
I went to my third appt today with the Physical Therapist. I have had some back problems that I want to deal with before this baby gets any bigger! He has given me some exercises to do that are helping a bit. He things that the disk in between my vertebrae is shifting and bugging my nerve cord and causing the pain. He has also mentioned the fact that my pelvis is starting to shift and will continue to shift as it prepared for the arrival of our baby! So, between the pelvis shifting and the shifting disk, we are trying to figure out some things that will help it.
Baby and I are off to Austin, TX this week with my mom, grandma, and sister, so we are excited about that! Baby's first plane ride...so exciting! :)
